About the Role
We're hiring an NLP Engineer to build conversational AI and document intelligence systems for enterprise clients — chatbots, RAG pipelines, and language understanding systems that hold up outside a demo.
What You'll Do
- Design and build RAG pipelines — retrieval strategy, chunking, and grounding — for enterprise knowledge bases
- Build and fine-tune conversational AI systems for client-specific domains and tone
- Own evaluation for language quality, factual grounding, and retrieval relevance
- Integrate NLP systems into client applications alongside our web and platform engineers
- Debug production issues in live conversational systems, not just offline evaluation sets
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of NLP engineering experience, including hands-on work with transformer-based models
- Practical RAG pipeline experience — you understand the tradeoffs in chunking, retrieval, and reranking
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or a comparable orchestration framework
- Strong Python fundamentals and comfort working with vector databases
Nice to Have
- Experience with multilingual NLP or non-English deployments
- Prior work on voice AI or speech-to-text integrated systems
- Familiarity with prompt evaluation and LLM-as-judge evaluation techniques
